The October issue of MG Enthusiast features Wang Yongda, a businessman from Huaying, a small village in Xinji province, who sells raw materials to local chemical plants and bought an MG7 to prove to his customers that he was a serious businessman rather than turn up in a very small pick-up.
There is a story of him driving to Beijing for the Olympics and two Brits (?) congratulating him on his MG.
I think his reg is 青A MG 100 - not sure about the Chinese but it shows you can get personalised numberplates in China.
Full story in October's (last month's) MGE.
