    Rallye Dakar 2013:

No MG is taking part but there are competitors in MINI and Great Wall...

    http://www.dakar.com/dakar/2013/us/rider/rider-list-cars.html#ancre

starts in one MG country (Peru) and ends in another (Chile). Don't think they can make a lot of sales on Britishness in Argentina... http://www.dakar.com/dakar/2013/us/route.html

They need the Roewe W5 for that event and unfortunately it's not available as an MG and not available in South America...

If it's a BMW X5, why is the driver not blonde lol?

But at least then I can see that it is a joke even if the translation from Dutch isn't quite perfect!

Having looked at that link for double dutch I'm wondering if I can use any of those other phrases, I wonder if they have similar phrases about the English? (Good thing I'm not english!)

He would probably have all those giant minis full of arms to take over Argentina on the way through! And then get lost before he got there, unlike his mother who won her war against Argentina.

I looked everywhere for the VW advert "You should have taken the bus, Mark".

Don't mention the war! (At the time the "w" word was never mentioned). I wonder when MG will come to Paraguay, Ecuador and Venezuela? After that only three (one ex) Gui(y)anas (one of which is run as part of the EU, and one of which is RHD IIRC) and Argentina left!

NB Venezuela: the company M.G. Motores is a Chevrolet dealer!

Just watched "Falklands' Most Daring Raid" on More4 - if you've not seen it then it is repeated at 01:20 tonight - how we sent a Vulcan nuclear bomber on a 4000 mile bombing run against the Argentinians with 11 Victors to refuel it - excellent documentry and obviously not a war!

    Too true.

    TodosAutos on Facebook:

Today the Dakar rally says goodbye to the Peru. Stage 5 begins in Arequipa and ends in Arica. Cars and trucks will run a special of 172 km. While motorcycles and ATVs already run one special 136 km. we expect good news from Peruvians.
