Wonder how many will be registered in January or February ("62") and how many in March ("13")? And will Avis be after a deal, I wonder?

MG6 Diesel Empty Re: MG6 Diesel

Developing plenty of power between 1,800 and 2,500rpm, it is mated to a new six-speed manual gearbox with overdrive on fourth, fifth and sixth gears to stretch average economy to more than 53mpg.
What is this "overdrive" all about?

About 300 work at Longbridge, where the new five-door MG3 hatch will be assembled this summer alongside the MG6.
    Good news.

MG sales and marketing director Guy Jones said the introduction of the DTI-Tech was hugely important to the brand, giving it an opportunity to target fleet and company car buyers with a diesel model that is not only roomy but competitively priced with low running and whole life costs.

Mr Jones said: “From our own research we know there is a lot of pent up demand for MG and we will be expanding our UK dealerships from 40 to 50 and will support them with factory based fleet specialists.

“We will add to the current MG6 series with the smaller MG3 and that will make the brand even more attractive to fleet and private buyers.”

4, 5 and 6 are quite "high ratios"(?) - if that's what you call it if they are laid out for cruising?

    Hooray.

I wonder where these new ones are? Do we need half-a-dozen for a start to replace dealers who have given up? Is Luffield really giving up?
