MG3 V Dacia Sandero. The two will go head to head in the first
MG3 showdown. I am looking forward to the result.
In German tests, they will tend to prefer the soft dash and the most airbags - test a Fiesta against a Superb and the Fiesta will lose points for being smaller - so price doesn't really play the role it should. The Fiesta's price omits several hundred pounds for a radio, which is extra on a base model, and they tested an Audi A4 for "under €30k" where the range effectively begins above that.docjunior2008 wrote:The Dacia isn't THAT cheap, when you start adding options. but they're more expensive than the MG when you've specced them up.snifferdog1 wrote:They conclude by saying that if you can live without the extra space then a VW UP, Citigo etc are better quality
Is that when compared to the Dacia engine?snifferdog1 wrote:It lost out on the engine - coarse and dated.
Interesting that car pages like the dash and switch gear !Windy wrote:Is that when compared to the Dacia engine?snifferdog1 wrote:It lost out on the engine - coarse and dated.
And what power/acceleration did the Dacia manage?
Meanwhile, http://www.carpages.co.uk/mg/mg-mg3-review-part-1-17-09-13.asp seems to like the MG3.
Perouda have pulled out the uk market, Proton are launching a bargain basement MPV and the MG6 competitor Preve saloon and Suprima S soon.patpending wrote:but they're more expensive than the MG when you've specced them up.snifferdog1 wrote:They conclude by saying that if you can live without the extra space then a VW UP, Citigo etc are better quality
Obviously if you want a smaller car...
But this test was a test on price, those cars are more competitors on qualities (though smaller they will also be expensive)
I wonder whether Proton and Perodua are better competitors for the price?
