With regards to the UK, I can only imagine that most mg3 orders haven't been delivered yet?!

But why the delay when they had production cars ready for the dealers demonstrators at the beginning of September?

Exactly - you only have to see the pictures taken recenly on a Longbridge tour to see that they have row after row of '3 sitting in the assembly building.

Actually, more than that - this just doesn't sound right. There were more than 36 MG6s at Motorpoint.

Sales dont surprise me. I don't think the MG3 will start to show in the figures until this month, deliveries did not start until the last week in October, several owners would have waited until 01/11 to get the benefit of a full years road tax rather than lose nearly a month.

Motorpoint MG6's all registered in Sept, so will have no bearing on last months figures, and all dealer MG3's registered last month.

The Chile October Sales Figures have arrived.

MG in 32nd place with 0.5% of the market.
Skoda 46th, 0.2%
Mini 47th, 0.1%
Maxus 48, 0.1%

Mini sold just 3 more vehicles than Maxus, never thought I would see a Mini-Maxus battle!

Maxus actually sold more vehicles in Chile than MG sold in the UK, even though the UK is a much bigger market, MG's UK percentage being only 0.02%.

I wonder if this will continue or is it just a big order that is taking a few months to complete?

The MINI sales numbers are interesting. It's the Emperor's New Clothes - put them in a market where people think of practicalities and they see straight through it.
