MG MAURICE GARAGES ANNOUNCE AARDVARQ® ELECTRONIC AUDI DETECTION ASSISTANT FOR 6 TSE
First April Works (FAW) Stonybridge, 1st April. As part of the programme of continuous model improvement which has already added a diesel to the choice of engines available with the Maurice Garages 6 model, new subsidiary First April Works Maurice Garages Motor (愚人节蒸汽) announce today the launch of the AARDVARQ® Electronic Audi Detection Assistant . Working in tandem with the TSE's rear-view camera, AARDVARQ® (Automatic Audi Remote Detection Vehicle Assistant for Rearward Query) sweeps the road behind for Audis and alerts the driver in the unlikely event that any Audi is not in the outside lane or not tailgating. An Audi in lane 2 can only mean an Audi planning to cut across several cars in a squeal of rubber to exit the motorway at the last minute.
The patented AARDVARQ® mirror carries the legend:
“OBJECTS IN MIRROR MAY NOT ACTUALLY BE TAILGATING YOU AT 90”
“ERR THEY'RE AUDIS – WHO ARE WE KIDDING?”
Further developments planned include sensors to detect older Golf GTIs with a surfeit of ill-fitting plastic bodykit weaving across lanes behind, and small blue Peugeots undertaking at speed.
For more details contact: Head of ANPR, First April Works (FAW), Stonybridge, “Q” car Gate, Damonhill Lane, Leyland P45, Roadtrain.
