MG Motor and SMTC reveal new and future models at MG90

I visited MG90 at Silverstone yesterday. MG Motor announced two new limited-edition models - MG3 and MG6 90th - apparently if they sell 90 in 90 days, all buyers will go into a draw to win a 6 - and also put on display an MG CS study (same stage as MG Zero), three EV running prototypes and the sporty MG3 Trophy.

Yesterday's cars were revealed in dark conditions so my photos are not very good.

Matthew, a marketing manager who has been with MG Motor for five months, had an analysis of MG's brand personality ("affordable - sporty - down to earth - British). He mentioned that four new models are due on the UK market by 2020. Does this include variants of existing models like "6 Magnette" or diesel? Surely it includes CS, but what else? EV? 6 replacement? 5 Magnette? Sportscar?

I wonder if they will do a fastback version of the MG5 GT for Europe? If not then I'm sure we will see the booted version.

Completely without fanfare - a 5 hatch! And it would fit in my garage!
