This one doesn't appear on the list:

MG is mentioned as a 'coming soon' bit on the landing page. The dealer already has an MG3 on the forecourt which also has temporary MG banner signs put up.

I see it says Chevrolet there too so I guess MG will be replacing them.

I think the SW should be an ideal territory for MG - more mature drivers paying for a car with their own money and younger people who need a car.

They've also just taken on Ssanyong according to the website. Handy for the launch of the CS!

Given their location the CS seems much more likely to sell than any more normal MG, I wonder if they sell to people in North and South Cornwall from there?  Mid Cornwall can't have many customers and Roche isn't somewhere you tend to find yourself!

I see it *is* near Newquay. People round there need cars... and inexpensive new ones sound good...

Newquay is on the coast, that doesn't count as Mid Cornwall does it?

Well, halfway between Devon and Lands End?

Anyway, I see they have sold some Korandos already - that shows there's no massive buyer resistance to Ssanyong. It also shows what people are prepared to pay (£15k). The Korando is far less bargain-basement than Dacia and quite decently styled; if MG are to differentiate themselves from Ssanyong, the interior and performance of the CS will have to be quite special.

It's on the A30 near Bugle (where the Newquay railway line crosses the A30).

Cornwall is quite thin there so the N coast is not too far and nor is St Austell and the S coast.

I see they are linked to the operation at Penryn/Falmouth where they have their registered office.
