    Seat lip is gone now (it broke Hello from Holland Icon_sad )

    Maybe now your Seat lip is gone, you could redo the bottom of the front bumper in MKII style with the central tunnel for better aerodynamics but keep the top in MKI style - a project for the new year...

    It's dark at the moment and I can't be bothered to find some decent lighting so these aren't best quality, I guess it will do though?

    EDIT too right, though I pity the poor bloke with the gorgeous Trophy Blue MkI who has disappeared down the centre crease!

    How many people reading this think to themselves, reading "Pete had "500-mile weekend trips to visit his wife in Germany"", "ah, the lady was not yet his wife at the time" and remember wondering about routes to Rosmalen via the Cologne area?

    and Willem, is it you who has my bekerhouder (cupholder)? Original MkII - cost, three Asterix "boekjes"(?) in Dutch! (Going by the surname in MGE, yes it is and you know that the Dutch Volvo wasn't Born yesterday!)

    From what I heard, the taxes on foreign imports to Holland are very high, so Martin's VR6 must have cost him a lot...

    ...I keep forgetting that the ZS was available in variants without the VR6 engine. Windy doesn't. The MkI was imported to Germany as a 2.5 saloon only. What size engine is yours, Willem?

    Martin car is a damage car from Germany.
    Its still cheaper with import and repairing than buying in Holland

    Mine is a 1.8
    Only 1.8 and 2.5 in Holland
    Mostly saloons.
    There are a few hatches.
    Not sure where they come from as they where never sold in Holland
