SHANGHAI, 1st April (April Fun News Agency) - Shanghai April 1 Corporation ["SA1C"] announced today that a further new MG model is planned.
Dubbed "the small SPV", the new vehicle is aimed at the busy housewife who wants the practicality of the 10-wheel drive to go offroad onto the pavement when parking on the zigzag lines outside her darlings' school.
The high-mileage businessman will also appreciate the integral forward-launching heat-seeking anti-middle-lane hogger rocket and auto-lowering all-terrain caterpillar tracks for dealing with speed humps.
Having said which, no MG driver would really do these things, now, would they?
Having entered the new small SPV via the "eat your heart out, convertible drivers" automatic DoorlessGo
system and settled down in the luxurious seat of the commanding rear-facing driving position, the happy owner can watch the view from the "going forwards camera" on a television screen while driving.
For those worried about wheel size, the small SPV with its ten wheels in two different sizes will surely fit the bill.
This prototype model, measuring around four inches long, has been certified with zero CO2 emissions. In today's tense world of restricted fuel supply, SA1C are also happy to announce that the MG small SPV has not used any fuel yet, even when going on the Hot Wheels track down the stairs.
The model carries a colourful "S" branding, believed to stand for Shanghai, or Spectrum, or something. However, it is believed a road-going car would carry a different brand.
The small SPV is available in Union Captain Blue (as here) or Regal Captain Scarlet.
Release is pencilled in for 1st April 2067.
