All test cars have them, it cuts off all electrical power for use if something bursts into flames during testing or the fly by wire throttle decides to do its own thing. All race cars have them too, but on the outside so the marshals can use it - seemed to be a rather hot job during the weekends BTCC race, but it was clearly useful

I had been going to watch it, too!
The race is repeated in the early hours of tomorrow morning on ITV (1,not 4) so I'm taping it!
