    The current MG6 saloon feels a bit old fashioned and has a rather dated engine, but it does have a cracking chassis and interesting handling. The MG3 is a new hatchback and if the same team has done its springs, dampers and other suspension bits it could be even more fun to drive.

    A) Blimey - that's quite positive coming from someone connected to Top Gear

    and

    B) He he ever actually sat in an MG6 to criticise it or is he going by perceived wisdom?

    They had one on the show once, I imagine they all had a go around their track in it just to see how bad it was, only to find that it wasn't bad - they haven't made a negative comment on it since which is very positive!
