I had expected more partly based on the Sales Centre reporting good new car sales.

However, if I ordered a new Polo tomorrow (the engines over 70PS are less common), I have been told I would be lucky for it to get here from Spain before Christmas!

Wonder what the lead time is on a not-in-stock MG to get here from China and be assembled and delivered?

When will we get our jam tomorrow?

Sales up overall by over 16% is decent, and more than the Chinese average. It's a case of steady growth and judging by the rather higher increase in production they are expecting a strong autumn stealing market share from others.

Obviously the UK and NZ figures don't look so good!

I think MG UK is so small that they have diverted all attention to the MG3. Those 13 must have been all the MG3 press cars in Bognor!

Will MG just flog the MG3 and simply 'list' the MG6 if anyone wants one? I can't see them putting much more effort into it.

Will be getting the usual breakdown of all of Saic's sales.

There's an awful lot of new 6's parked up at Longbridge....

If they are going to move over to MG3 production then a good stockpile of 6s would make sense, once they have worked out what they are doing with the MG3 they can then try building both at once...

That would be something. I understand that there is a spare builidng to do so.
