SAIC Design Competition The “ROEWE ▪ MG Cup” design competition was launched back in March with the goal of raising Roewe’s brand awareness and promoting Chinese automotive design talent to an international level.
Based on the theme “ROEWE 2020 Elegant Confidence”, the contest lasted for a period of 6 months and received over 330 design entries from more than 80 invited design institutions.
The jury made of SAIC design experts took into consideration “Relevance, Innovation, Aesthetics, Presentation and Comprehensiveness” as main selecting criteria, and ultimately awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 6 winning prizes.

I like the top coupe but only IF they ever productionise something without ruining it...
But surely a car for 2020 should be thinking slightly differently by now in terms of packaging, powertrain, construction etc? These cars are all very firmly 20th century thinking.
Do something new.
