You must live in a remote location Podders and not get out much if you have not seen one MG6 in the past 3 years. Very Happy

    Enjoy your Dacia

I do live in a remote location, but that means I spend a great deal of time on the roads up and down to Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester and Birmgham, and I haven't seen one yet. It could be that they're not particularly noticeable, rather than so few were sold?

I don't believe total sales are much above 1,500 if at all (2011 (?) + 2012 784(?) + 2013 294) so it's fair to say you don't see many. I think we all agree that those places you mention need dealers as a good start - AFAIK only Birmingham (Longbridge + Dudley outside Birmingham) has them ATM, and Newcastle is due soon.

Slowly increasing? I read that MG registrations dropped last year. And there were 210 MG3s in the total compared to the previous years figures being just MG6s so if anything they seem to be decreasing in sales.

I've seen a few MG6s but none particularly recently. I remember most of them having URLs on the bumper. Was this some advertising campaign using factory cars? Not a problem for me as I like having a rare car. Besides, my nearest dealer is well out of my way which would explain why I don't see many.

sales of new MG6 last were hampered by around 500 used cars on the market following the Avis deal.

The increase at first was in the used vehicles

I've just taken a quick look at used MG 6s. I'm really stunned by how cheap they are. Perhaps residuals are the reason they stopped finding buyers? That's some serious depreciation.

Are there any MG 3 owners on here, current or planned?

Only had the one response so far.
