Barclays launch a Blue Morris Minor as an example of Successful Lending

At the Barclays PLC AGM today, there was a Barclays blue D-Reg Morris 1000 Traveller on proud display.

Apparently Barclays are using it to promote their involvement in British success stories.

Er, right.

I'm reminded of Mr. Wang no.2 (Wang Hong Biao) saying, when asked where NAC were getting the money to develop new models, "the banks have lots of money"(!) Still, that was then.

Apparently there is a second blue Moggy in New York.

The model has appeared in a few odd places - "the" German comedian Otto had one in his 1985 film IIRC.
