    i heard that the 6 was based on a shortened version of the rover 75's platform so does that you could theoretically fit the 2.5 KV6 engine from the z cars  Question  Question

    I expect the engine mountings are all different due to updated crash requirements.

    No problem with the MG7 though, you can buy that with a KV6 in some countries.

    Think you always need to swap engine mountings.
    1.8 compare to V6 will be diff.
    If you strip the whole engine bay inc all looms.
    Bit of work but can be done if your handy
