Due to sharing a platform, the MG6 body parameters compared to the Roewe 550 are very close. Both cars wheelbase is 2705mm, but MG MG6 body length and width slightly larger than the Roewe 550, respectively, 4653mm and 1837mm, body height of 1478mm, the Roewe 550 body size of 4624/1827 / 1480mm. As for the MG6 powertrain it is expected to be be the same as used with the Roewe 550's 1.8L DVVT engines and 1.8T turbo engines. 1.8L model of its maximum power is 98kW, the maximum torque of 170N.m, while the 1.8T models the maximum power of 118kW, maximum torque of 215N.m. The gearbox will be 5 speed tiptronic transmission.
