2010 - Sales Figures

Adding on a repeat Novembers sales to cover December we have an estimate of:

MG: 29,097
Roewe: 132,276
Total: 161,373

The target for the total was 180,000 for the year.

Last years totals where:

MG: 15,299
Roewe: 75,010
Total: 90,309

It has been a difficult and slightly unpredictable year for the whole of the Chinese automotive industry.

Just came looking for this thread.

It would be a good idea to have it easy to find - if not a sticky like 2009 then maybe all SAIC sales threads in their own forum?

December sales

Big news - the MG TF is no longer SAIC Motor's lowest seller


Even though it only sold 10 in December

The Roewe 350 continues it's fight to overtake the Roewe 550, it has never been closer, maybe next month...

The MG6 has done well again, maybe due to the publicity from the Guangzhou show and with the new MG3 in the news sales of the old MG 3SW have plumeted. The Guangzhou show was in the second half of the month so obviously everyone had heard the news before it happened

I guess then that in 2011 the MG3 is expected to sell around 3000 per month, the MG6 Saloon about 1000 per month and the W5 SUV about 2000 per month while the 350 and 550 gain 1000 per month over current levels.
I can see MG exceeding the targets while Roewe may struggle...
