    I don't think the tester was convinced, thinking that Thai drivers will find the car a little hard to get used to. It's obviously set at a highish price. Given their ambitious targets I would have expected a lowish price.

    Hmmmm its a better Thai write-up than the last one I read.

    Seems like theyve priced it too high again. I guess they arent sharing the lessons learnt in the UK.

    No actual competitor is named - but I don't know what is an "expensive" car in Thailand - what we might think of as a Kia? and "cheap" is Great Wall?

    The reviewer is in Thailand. I recently noted that the massive big seller in the Indian market is a local Suzuki brand beginning with "M" - I imagine it is not expensive there. This is where I wonder what he is comparing the MG with in his mind.

    Given the quality of the car in Britain, I agree that £20k is not extortionate. However, the 3 has been very keenly priced such that I think that £15k would be a more-successful pricing point.

    I think if the '6 had been released in Britain at £15K for the TSE they wouldve sold loads!

    I guess they were expecting the MG5 to sit in the middle of the range at the time though.
