He also had an exclusive look at some future MGs under development – but an image of an MG6 with the bonnet raised appears to have accidentally revealed MG’s forthcoming diesel variant.

A check of the registration reveals it sports an 1849cc diesel engine, suggesting the mooted 1.9-litre turbo diesel addition to the MG6 range is not far off being launched.
