No, should be the real thing at the Shanghai Motor Show, in hatchback form to go on sale in China later this year and in UK early next year, a saloon should follow sometime later. I think being too small to even be able to count the doors accurately was the idea behind that teaser image! and even a little of the Rover TCV concept in there! Best of all they've managed to take all of these design cues and turn them into a good-looking, unique product in it's own right. This can only be a good thing, in order to tempt in new & old buyers alike.

Now I've seen the higher res photo's I'm a lot more enthusiastic... It's a lot more angular than it looked in the first set of pictures... there's touches of Audi, Jaguar, dare I say BMW?
I'm pleased they haven't tried to hold onto MG / Rover design cues from the past ( headlights on 550 )... hopefully the future is just around the corner!
If it were on sale in the UK tomorrow, I'd part-ex my 75 without much thought...!
It's been an awfully long wait... I really hope it does well!

I was refering to the photos from the CCT website... ( as on your avatar ) rather than the pics right at the top of this page! Only 11 days to go!
